Building confidence is a major part of what I do for many of my clients.
Firstly we must address why you have a lack of confidence. Perhaps something happened in your childhood to give birth to feelings of insecurity or the feeling of 'I am not enough.'
You may find it hard to speak in public places or may have had a presentation at work that went badly and then this experience stuck with you and left you feeling as if it would happen again if the same process were to be repeated.
After dealing with the initial causes, some of which may be unknown to you but we can tap into by accessing your subconscious mind, we can then start the process of building your confidence, positivity and charisma.
One of the ways we do this is by using neuroplasticity. This is the ability of neural networks in the brain to change through growth and reorganization. These changes range from individual neuron pathways making new connections, to systematic adjustments like cortical remapping. In other words we can prune certain thought patterns you have in your brain and switch on new ones.
Visualisation is another important technique we use. If we can see things going well, they are more likely too. Sports people have known this for years, that's why before taking that free kick, or before the start of a race, a sports person will visualise it going perfectly.
Hypnotherapy is a very powerful way to help build your confidence. We are accessing the subconscious and scientists say that 95% of us is subconscious. Therefore, by building the confidence at this level, it is much more effective than doing it at the conscious level, which is just 5% of our being.
